Meeting Information

The Council meets the first Wednesday of each month at the LMTAAA office in Olympia (or virtually via Zoom) from approximately 9:30 a.m. to noon. 

Advisory Council meetings are open to the public, and you are encouraged to attend to learn more. Persons with a disability and who require accommodation should notify the Executive Assistant (360) 664-2168x224 a minimum of one week in advance. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

Council Members

Six people from each county are appointed to a two-year term and can be re-appointed for up to three terms. Council members offer tremendous value; in return, they learn a great deal about our state's aging and long-term care system. Members are assigned to committees covering health promotion, small project support, and public information.

Council Volunteers

LMTAAA seeks Council member volunteers with personal interest in issues facing older adults as well as adults living with disabilities in our communities. The ability to participate and regularly attend monthly meetings is a consideration. Members are not paid, but auto mileage is offered to offset the cost of attending.
