WA Cares for the Public

WA Cares Fund is a new state program that makes long-term care insurance affordable for all Washingtonians.

Unlike private long-term care insurance, which requires premiums even after you retire, you only contribute to WA Cares while you work.

Once approved to start using your WA Cares benefit, you can choose when and how you use it. Covered long-term services and supports include home improvements to make getting around easier, meal delivery, light housekeeping, yard work, and more.
