What is an Aging and Disability Resource Connection?

ADRC: Your guide to local support.

January 6, 2026

Your mom fell again, and you fear the next one.

Your brother needs medical assistance, but you can’t find what you need online.

Your neighbor is hungry, and you want to help.

You’re overwhelmed by caregiving tasks.

No matter the challenge, we can provide you with support and confidence in your next step.

LMTAAA’s Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) is your path to local resources for aging, disability and caregiving. Our team serves Lewis, Mason and Thurston counties by phone and in person.

Who is it for?

  • Older adults
  • Adults living with disability
  • Unpaid caregivers ranging from family to friends

What does an ADRC specialist do?

  • An ADRC specialist listens first.
  • They can help you sort through options and pick a starting point.
  • They can connect you to resources in your community.
  • They can explain programs and processes in clear, everyday language.

How to prepare for a call?

  • Tell our ADRC team what is happening now.
  • Share what you hope will change.
  • Create a list of all your questions.
  • Have paper and pen ready to take notes.
