Share What It Takes to Age Well

Help Shape Future of Support Services

Most people will help someone as they age. Many will need support themselves.

March 13, 2026

Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging is inviting residents and partners to share what helps, and what needs to change when it comes to aging well.

Take the online survey at lmtaaa.org/area-plan March 16 through April 14, 2026.

LMTAAA will use feedback to anchor its 2027-2030 Area Plan for Lewis, Mason and Thurston counties. The plan is a guide to building programs and services, like meals, caregiving, and transportation, reflecting community needs. Services support older adults, adults living with disability, and the friends and family who care for them.

Forums and a public hearing continue shaping a draft plan around local realities.

“Aging well looks different for everyone. Needs shift by place, health, income and more,” said LMTAAA Planning Director Kyle Sanchez. “Every voice helps LMTAAA connect the dots to what’s most important to those we serve. Data reveals patterns, but it’s stories that give those numbers meaning.”

Taking part in a survey, forum or hearing helps LMTAAA match services to real life.
